Yankee Hill: Land of the Six Guns" tells a fictionalized story based on historical facts which asks the question, "What if Marshal Kennard had met Cherokee Bill?"

Marshal Kennard was an African American Marshal of Yankee Hill, Colorado during 1874-1877. Cherokee Bill (1876-1896) was a half Cherokee and half African American with the same legend and skills as Billy the Kid, who joined the Cook Brothers' outlaw gang in 1894, roaming through Texas and Oklahoma. The Seminole nation was comprised of escaped African American slaves who loved, fought for, and died for Native Americans, creating a new, stronger nation.

Using modern techniques, Rob-O creates a time capsule filled with artifacts that tells a story filled with the spirit of the black cowboy. Each piece is a window into their story: the love before the battle, the standoff between the young rebel and the wizened peace keeper, and the wanted poster of Cherokee Bill.

Rob-O grew up in Philadelphia and became accustomed to seeing urban black cowboys riding their horses through the streets at a young age. After moving to New Jersey, those modern cowboys inspired him to discover the roots of the black cowboy, especially as he was adjusting to a new frontier of his own, living in the west coast.
